Margarita Meklina is a Russian-born bilingual writer who lives in the city of Dublin, Ireland, after arriving here from the San Francisco Bay Area where she spent more than 20 years.
An author of the recently published young adult novel The Little Gaucho Who Loved Don Quixote ('Black Wolf Edition & Publishing Ltd.', 2016) as well as six collections of short stories in Russian, she is a regular contributor of literary fiction and essays to such English-language literary magazines as The Honest Ulsterman, The Galway Review, Gorse, The Brooklyn Rail, The Context (from Dalkey Archives), Quarterly Conversation, The Cumberland River Review, The Mad Hatters' Review,The Red Earth Review, The Toad Suck Review, Words Without Borders, and many others.
