I am a freelance writer and curator of Telegram Gallery, a non profit gallery promoting the work of emerging artists. I am based in Glasgow, Scotland, and currently write articles for a number of arts publications including the Globe Magazine and Hyperallergic. In my poetry and prose I am interested in ideas of place and memory, women's experience and the feminist critique of language – namely what we talk about when we talk about women. My recent work is beginning to explore the etymological baggage of words used to describe, insult and praise women and women's work.
