I have been writing for the length of my adult life: from plays to screenplays, teleplays, poetry, and fiction. I took a twenty year hiatus to teach English in some underserved high schools here in Los Angeles. That experience added considerable breadth and depth to my love and appreciation for the English language. I was exposed to a greater variety of essays, poetry, and literature that provided ample opportunity to apply various skills and techniques to my own writing.
In the past year, I brought five short stories to a final draft, and have been submitting those to various literary publications. I’m happy to have discovered Sixfold, and look forward to creating a relationship with its reading audience.
