Anne Rankin is a writer, poet, and freelance editor. She won first prize in Sixfold's Poetry Contest (Summer 2014). Her poetry has appeared in The Healing Muse, Passager, Atlanta Review, Comstock Review, MacQueen's Quinterly, Hole in the Head Review, Scapegoat Review, Whale Road Review, and elsewhere. She has work forthcoming in Does It Have Pockets?, The Bluebird Word, kern, and Rattle. She has published short nonfiction and memoir pieces in The Columbus Dispatch, The Mount Desert Islander, The Washington Post, and elsewhere. She cannot say enough good things about dogs, and she makes her home in Brunswick, Maine.
