Nancy Kilgore’s first novel, SEA LEVEL (RCWMS 2011) received the Silver Medal in ForeWord Review’s Book of the Year Awards. She has published essays and short stories in literary and online journals and is currently working on her second novel, a story of midlife romance and controversy over gay marriage set in a small town in Vermont. Nancy is a psychotherapist, a pastoral counselor, and leads workshops and retreats in mindfulness and creative writing. She lives in Vermont with her husband, an architect and painter.
