Nancy VanDusen writes novels for children as well as creative nonfiction and poetry. She is fortunate enough to have seen her work published in a handful of online journals, including Wilderness House Literary Press and Grande Dame Literary. She is a retired schoolteacher, and lives in Palm Desert, California with her two rescue cats. She is currently working on a middle-grade novel set in the mid-‘80s about an atypical middle-class family. Besides writing, she enjoys reading, walking, listening to a variety of music, and listening to political podcasts.
