Patrick grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia, writing stories since he was a child. In those days, he wore a green Robin Hood costume, playing stories in the forest around the lake with his siblings and school friends, who were generally also dressed up as something. Sometime after the costume no longer fit, Patrick moved to Toronto for school, but stayed to do human rights and pay equity work with university unions. He now lives and writes by the far ocean in Victoria, B.C. His work has previously appeared in The Writing Disorder, Danse Macabre, and Literary Yard.
