I was born and raised in the PNW by my Indian mother and Scottish father. I split my time between the city and the countryside, growing up somewhere in-between. I fell in love with poetry as a craft during my time at the University of Washington with Professor Richard Kenney. While at UW I was awarded the McLenneghan Scholarship, a scholarship based on academic merit in the study of Shakespeare (an obsession of mine). I was also lucky enough to study poetry and art history in Rome, twice! I recently graduated with a Bachelor's in English and Anthropology. I spend my time writing, tutoring and exploring.
