Writer, farmer, poet, dreamer, gardener, runner, green smoothie drinker, lover of words, ideas, and silence, seeker of wisdom...these are descriptors that more or less fit me. I live in Montana, I study alternative energy and grow food, and I ponder the meaning(s) of life. I manage to have fairly healthy relationships with family and friends, but at times, I can understand the motives experienced by hermits when they choose that solitary life. I live near a river. I listen to NPR. I read before I fall asleep, and I bake my own bread. I feel sorry for the earth and deeply apologetic to the creator and the creation for all the ways I participate in the destructive practices of the human species.
