A member of the National Writers Association, Michigan Writers, American Academy of Poets and the Alliance of Independent Authors, Ron Herron worked for some of the world's largest advertising agencies and had a long career with an international Fortune 10 company.
A former National Merit Scholar, his poetry and short stories have appeared in print and on respected online forums. His novel, Reichold Street, was selected as a 2012 Readers Favorite Gold Medal Winner.
An avid reader, he admits to an eclectic taste that leans toward fantasy, sci-fi and well-crafted mystery or suspense. He is also a fan of historical fiction. He listens to a wide range of music, with his taste leaning heavily toward bluesy rock. He has two grown sons who each own successful businesses in Florida.
He lives in Michigan with his beautiful wife, a talented musician-composer son, a big ugly mortgage and one extremely large cat.
