The author lives upon a hilltop of his courtly manor, with his beautiful lady, overlooking the Shadowmoor Mountains. His gnome companions live within the courtyard under the boughs of two twin oak trees. They light a campfire nightly, dancing around and singing songs about little pots of gold, whilst drinking frothy, ice beetle-chilled ale.
