Ruth is the author of three gift books, Cinnamon, Mint, & Mothballs (Harcourt), Wishing (Peachtree Publishers), and Cats Vanish Slowly (Peachtree Publishers). She has collaborated with artist Laura de Ruyter to produce a perpetual calendar with artwork and poetry. She lives in Los Angeles.
