A Connecticut native who lived and taught for several years in Hawaii and North Carolina, Sarah has returned now to New England. Her award-winning fiction, poems, and non-fiction pieces have appeared in many publications, including previous issues of Sixfold. Her story "Witnessing" was a finalist for the 2024 Porch Prize for Fiction, and her story "Playing Chess with Bulls" (published in Sixfold) was a finalist for the 2021 Doris Betts Fiction Prize.
