Simon Carter was brought up in North Manchester, England and became the first person in his family to go to university, graduating in Physics from Oxford University. He has subsequently had a successful career in technology, is married to Dawn and together they have brought up four daughters, who have grown-up and become friends. Simon loves cooking, playing with his grandchildren, hill-walking, running, music, literature, and writing, He has recently had an essay published and two stories short-listed in competitions.
