I am an initiated man who calls the rolling mountains of Western North Carolina, home. When I am not helping people wrestle with the important financial questions of life, my wife, two young daughters, German Shepherd, and I are often out exploring the stunning wilderness of these forested wilds.
In my formative years, I grew up north of Baltimore, Maryland with my mother and older brother, as my father worked out of state for most of my childhood. I studied communication at Towson State University, and later joined the faculty at the University of Central Florida in the communication department after earning graduate degrees both in communication and counseling.
Today, I live in Fairview, North Carolina, enjoy a thriving Edward Jones practice, and continue to journey deeper into my authentic self and quest for true joy. Most recently, my family has rallied around our oldest daughter to help her pursue full healing from a sudden diagnosis of acute myeloid leukemia.
