I have published twenty nonfiction books ranging from such topics as the sinking of the "Titanic" to the journalistic life of children's author Laura Ingalls Wilder. In my retirement I am now turning to fiction and poetry. I once appeared on the "Publishers Weekly" bestseller list and the "USA Today" list. I am very proud of "Laura Ingalls Wilder, Farm Journalist," which is with the University of Missouri Press. It has sold several thousand copies in hardback, which is very acceptable by university publishing standards.
