Sydney Lee is a writer and artist based in New York, studying Philosophy and Economics at Columbia University. The child of Korean missionary parents, she was born in Michigan and was raised in the Philippines and China. During her process of leaving and returning to the church, Lee began her pursuit of the Arts as a way to make sense of what it means to live and be, and has always understood her pursuit of philosophy and the Arts as being fundamentally intertwined. Lee writes with the hope to linger for just a moment longer in the joys and the sorrows, the oceanic depth and unremarkable nature of being.
