I am the daughter of an English teacher; the question “Are you going to be a teacher, too?†has been following me for as long as I can remember. Out of sheer irony, I pursued my bachelor’s degree in English with a specialization in Creative Writing from the University of West Florida. Writing has been my tool, my craft, my haven to make sense of the world around me.
