My name is Scott Reid, I am a father, husband, writer, baker, and so much more. I began writing creatively when I was about 12 years old. What happened was my 6th grade Language Arts teacher picked up on some dyslexic characteristics I was showing. She questioned if I had ever been tested. I became offended and explained I simply hadn't been putting in my best effort. By the end of the year my spelling was still mediocore and I struggled in other aspects of writing, but the teacher encouraged me to test for the advanced Language Arts program for 7th grade. I tried to reject the idea, but she basically demanded it of me. I was able to test in to the advanced class, but it was on the strangth of me being able to tell stories. Since then I've worked extremely hard to become a better technical and creative writer. I write fiction of all lengths and genres, poetry, lyrics, teleplays, scripts. My passion is telling stories and it's my wish to tell them in any way that I can.
