I’m a word lover with various interests living out the life of a frustrated writer here on my blog! I’m a public school English, writing, and social studies teacher, and have been for over twenty-five years. I’m a singer (mostly jazz), in public when I get the chance (I’m pretty good); I love music of most any genre (not modern country, though). I enjoy learning about other cultures. I love to read and write–-which does not preclude an enjoyment of television. I love BBC radio shows, and if I could do anything at all, I'd write for the BBC. "Old Harry's Game" anyone? "Party"?
I enjoy Art, fine foods, not so fine foods, and my secret ambition is to sing in a Big Show (Oh, I guess it’s not so secret any more), and I think I’m funny.
