In a small tiny island below the equator in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, a child was born in the year 1978, the 17th of June. She is the only daughter of five children and is the product of artistic parents. Her mother, a painter, and her father, a self-proclaimed writer/author. She led quite a dualistic life balancing a role of what was expected of her from both her family and society and her true self. A former activist and now a reformed member of society, she embarks on a path less travelled by most of her peers. She decides to pursue writing. Although she began writing as young as in primary school and many failed attempts at romantic stories, she has also had a short stint in journalism. But her true passionate genre lies in poetry for it is in this form, the words organically blend together to form a poetic line. She desires to share her pieces for they are pieces of her soul.
