Travis Helms (wthelms)

A native Texan, I grew up in Atlanta, GA; and attended college in New Hampshire. Upon graduation, I was given a fellowship to live and work in one of Robert Frost’s former homesteads. A year later, I went to Madagascar with the Peace Corps; then attended Yale Divinity School. I am finishing a PhD from Cambridge University focusing on theological dimensions in the poetry of Emerson, Whitman, Stevens and Crane; and hope to be ordained a priest in the Episcopal Church. I've published sonnets in The New Haven Review and Noesis, and won a few awards at Cambridge University (if that matters).
