Julene is a secondary English teacher in a small, rural, public school. She is also the mom of three awesome boys and the mom to five furbabies and a fish. In her free time (like there is much of that) she likes to garden, hike, and be in nature. She has attended a Colrain Workshop, Seeing Things at Bright Hill Workshops, a workshop with Liz Rosenberg, Bertha Rogers, and several seminars with Ellen Bass. Julene's work has appeared in NCTE's The English Record, Mslexia, La Presa, several anthologies, and her chapbook So I Will Remember.
