Robert McKay is a tutor, classroom aide, bartender, unionist and community organizer in Seattle. He studied philosophy & was an undergraduate fellow at the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference. His first book was Cities of rain (Honeybee Press, 2012). Poems have appeared recently or are forthcoming in jubilat, Green Mountains Review, Requited, Existere, Siren & others. Robert lives with his partner, a labor organizer, & their cat, a sadomasochist.
