Farhana Qazi is an award-winning speaker, activist, and author on conflicts in the Muslim world.
For nearly twenty years, she has offered training courses to the U.S. Government on various aspects of Islam, radical Islam and served as a cultural advisor. She trained the U.S. military as a senior instructor on the AFPAK Regional Training Team, providing cultural and religious courses to help officers serving in Afghanistan and Pakistan understand the local customs, traditions, and the wider threat by violent extremist groups.
For her service to the U.S. military, she received the 21st Century Leader Award, presented by the National Committee on American Foreign Policy in New York.
She is the author of Secrets of the Kashmir Valley, a human-interest story about survivors of war. Her second book, Love’s Martyrs is under review.
